Alice I. Matheason Berkley, 71, died April 5, 2024 at her Caribou residence. She was born November 3, 1953 in Story City, Iowa, the daughter of the late Arthur “Pat” and Dorothy I. (Burnett) Matheason. Alice was a veteran of the United States Navy, and following her service earned a bachelor’s of science degree in accounting from the University of Western Florida. Alice was a loving mom who was passionate about her children She enjoyed watching her children perform in their extracurricular activities whether it was gymnastics, football, dance, and cheerleading. Her love for music and being a free spirit made her love life to the fullest. She will missed by her family and all who loved her. Alice was predeceased by her parents, her son, David Berkley, sisters, Jeanie and Linda. She is survived by her daughter, Leanna Berkley of Florida, and her sisters, Ann and Cheryl. Private family services will be held. Interment will be in the Northern Maine Veterans Cemetery.
