Caribou and Lubec- Alice L. Cox, 93, wife of the late Kenneth Cox died March 27, 2012 at her Caribou residence. She was born in Lubec December 30, 1918 the daughter of the late James and Philena (Lyons) Huckins. She was a graduate of Lubec High School and was employed at Booth Fisheries for a number of years. Mrs. Cox was a member of the First Baptist Church of Woodland. She is survived by her son and daughter in law Gregory and Margie Cox of El Paso Texas; her daughter, Debra Merrill of Caribou. Three grandchildren, and one nephew Fred Freidel and his wife Barb of Chatham, N.Y. Mrs.Cox was predeceased by her husband, two brothers; James Huckins and Therman Rice Jr. and a sister Clara Freidel. A family graveside service will be held at Corey’s Cemetery Lubec at a later date. Arrangements by the Mockler Funeral Home Caribou.
